This years BHA entry was  a ‘Tongue in Cheek’ entry by William and Verity, who wanted to deliver an expression of chaos and fun in their collection and that is exactly what was achieved!

Themed on an eclectic mix, across all ages, the collection was called ‘Dinner at Eight (rsvp)’.

Behind all the fun was exceptional skills creating wonderful colour and technical cutting.

The photoshoot took place in our Ripon salon, themed and photographed by the multi skilled William Ackerley (our Ripon guest stylist for 2023!).

Royalty meets Baroque!

Here we have the delightful, wonderful and extremely elegant Anne.

This image depicts exactly the look that the guys wanted for the ‘Dinner at Eight (rsvp)’ Collection and nobody could pull this off better than Anne.

A very understated model and a  loyal guest of Baroque…we cannot thank her enough for participating in this shoot!

This shoot was one of the most fun and professional shoots that we have ever done!

All the hair was styled on the morning of the shoot and you may think a ‘simple’ pony tail is a two minute process…think again! Poor Verity is all I can say!

I truly felt for our stylists and the gorgeous young model Alice, who’s hair was brushed and brushed and brushed again! Before tying off the hair to create this elegant and sophisticated look.

No pain, no gain, is the saying and this look proves the point!

Such beautiful hair, the colour tones were created using our Kevin Murphy colour giving just the right amount of ‘sass’ to our elegant Dinner at Eight (rsvp)’ collection

Our model is the beautiful Anna, who is just a delight to work with and has featured in numerous Baroque shoots.

This man can only be described as the most patient, kind and humble person that I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

This is John (Will’s father) who was at the shoot, supporting Will and the team.

He was even was happy to pose a the dapper butler wearing a multi coloured comb over! Now that is a strong father son bond!

A huge thank you to these two beauties, who put all this together.

Three of our team members successfully reached the grand final of the L’Oreal Colour Trophy 2023.  This is a fantastic accolade, as L’Oréal receives thousands of entries from across the U.K. Please join us in congratulating Lauren, Katie and Jude who have gone above and beyond, creating looks inspired by a retro-fusion of eras from the 80’s & 90’s.

Another strong technical colour.

Here is Lauren and Jude’s entry on the lovely Kara.

Jude created a delicate fusion of cherry and fiery coppers, resulting in strong, beautiful Autumnal hues. He truly is a colour master in the making!

An on trend look, developed and styled by Lauren.
The look has multi-textures wearable in so many ways, from street to catwalk.

Tom O’Brien’s creativity certainly shone through in the British Hairdressing Awards 2018.

Creating this stunning collection of work instantly called the ‘Rouge Collection’.

Photographed by the exceptionally talented Tony Le Britton this work has now become the signature look of Baroque.

Tom O’Brien’s 2017 entry for the British Hairdressing Awards, was this striking image of perfection. Both the colour and cut was deemed to be exceptional in the judges eyes.
