Reiki is a Japanese energy healing modality, designed to reduce stress, promote relaxation aid physical healing and support emotional regulation.
A Reiki practitioner acts as a channel or conduit channeling ‘rei’ universal & ‘ki’life force energy which all living things are connected too ‘oneness’
Using gentle non-invasive hands on placement across the recipients body who is clothed. The general idea is to channel Reiki to help restore balance and flow to the individual.

Reiki is often used as a complementary holistic therapy alongside conventional medicine. It helps to reduce stress & anxiety bringing the recipient into a deep state of relaxation transitioning the body from ‘fight&flight’ into a sense of calm.
Reiki supports the emotional body assisting in and Aiding individuals who may suffer from depression and or emotional trauma.

Reiki is often used pre & post surgery aiding pain management and support bone/tissue recovery, many Hospitals work with Reiki practitioners for complimentary care for cancer patients and others dealing with chronic illness and chronic pain management.
